Opus International Consultants was a New Zealand-based infrastructure consultancy with engineering, planning, asset-management and spatial work. WSP completed its acquisition of Opus in December 2017, and the New Zealand business subsequently transitioned from the Opus name to WSP.

WSP’s New Zealand spatial services now include surveying, GIS, geospatial data integration, LiDAR, UAV capture, remote sensing, photogrammetry and digital terrain modelling. In 2025 WSP described its work with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi on the Asset Management Data Standard multimodal network model, integrating national transport data in an Esri environment.
